Fondly or not, this car shall be remembered. Or it should be remembered.
Nissan now has a long list of tasks to do, problems to fix, points to improve. While they’re at it, they should consider getting this car up to GTE spec.

I’d like to see them succeed, but what a disaster. Back to the drawing board.

eh, I don’t se it as a disaster, at least they aren’t toyota.

Huh? They were running mid pack lmp2 lap times, way ahead of GT cars

True. Nissan has relatively lesser shit to lose than Toyota.

Yeah, when they were running. The one that made it came last, and not by a small margin.

I mean, the first LeMans they entered, all three GT40s retired by or at their first pitstop. So probably a few hours in, at most. But they went back to the drawing board and destroyed everyone.

But it was also in the pits for hours at a time, where it lost most of its remaining track position

NISMO actually treated this race at data collection and faults finding. They kind of hyped up winning, but I’m glad they didn’t. Find where improvements need to be made and then destroy the competition later on. If anything, FWD did WAY better here than everyone thought originally since the platform in itself wasn’t the problem.
